RETIREMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Please read this important message from Dr. Ligham. After many years of dedicated care, Dr. Ligham will be retiring at the end of 2025. His final day seeing patients will be November 26, 2025.

Dear Patients,

Since opening Advanced Diagnostic Pain Treatment Centers, PC (ADPTC) with Dr. Saberski in 1999, it has been my honor and privilege to serve you as your pain management doctor. We have traveled the journey through good and bad times, and I have experienced great joy in helping improve the quality of your lives in at least some small way.

Sadly, for me it is time to announce my retirement at the end of the year, 2025. We will see no patients after November 26, 2025. Patient care at ADPTC will end November 26, 2025. This is a difficult decision since I very much love what I do professionally and enjoy my relationship with you, my patients.

This decision comes in a perfect storm: the loss of our lease and great uncertainty about the continued ability to use telehealth to provide pain management care. Telehealth is set to sundown, expire, on September 30, 2025. Beginning in October 2025 all visits are in person.

For those of you on controlled substance-based medication programs, we have compiled a list of providers for you to contact to transfer your care. I encourage you to begin this process IMMEDIATELY since you only have 3 months to establish care with another prescriber. Failure to take action now may result in withdrawing from medication which is both uncomfortable and medically risky having cardiac and neurological untoward effects including death.

Your treatment records are available through the Yale version of EPIC. Please make sure that you have an Epic account. All your notes can be printed from EPIC via your personal account.
