Our History

Advanced Diagnostic Pain Treatment Centers, PC was established in 1999 when the Yale Center for Pain Management closed. Dr. Saberski, the Center’s director, and Dr. Ligham, a post-doctoral fellow there, opened a private practice to serve the patients attended to at Yale and to continue their work in the specialty.

The philosophy has always been to understand the specific anatomic pain generator responsible for the symptoms. We recognize that abnormalities seen on imaging are not necessarily responsible for pain generation. Learn more about why our approach is different.
