Cold Laser Therapy

Cold laser therapy is a painless and non-invasive treatment for acute and chronic pain from conditions such as fibromyalgia and carpal tunnel syndrome. Low-intensity lasers using low levels of light are used to stimulate healing. The technique is called “cold” laser therapy because the low levels of light do not heat up tissue as some other types of laser therapy will do. During the procedure the low-intensity wavelengths of light are applied to the targeted area, which causes the tissue to react and the damaged cells begin to regenerate. This is a painless and non-invasive procedure that takes only minutes to complete in the office.
